CERV 2024–2026
OLYMPICEU
The European Values Olympiad
Promotes civic engagement, inclusion and equality through cross-border exchanges, workshops and institutional dialogue between Italy and Greece.
The project is led by the Hellenic–Italian Chamber of Commerce of Athens, with Paolo A. M. Ferrise, founder of EU20, responsible for the project design, strategic planning and technical development within the CERV Programme 2024–2026.
OLYMPICEU involves the municipalities of Crotone, Squillace and Cirò Marina in Italy, and Olympia, Pyrgos and Andravida–Kyllini in Greece — fostering cooperation among citizens and local authorities to strengthen European identity, active citizenship and trust in democratic institutions. The project represents a concrete experience of European cooperation, developed within the CERV Programme, contributing to the broader evolution of EU20 initiatives.

European Opportunities Lab
a strategic project of the EU20 Network
The European Opportunities Lab is an operational project developed within the EU20 Network, dedicated to the strategic reading and development of European calls and programmes.
The Lab has been created to support organisations, companies, public bodies and networks that aim to move from the mere observation of European calls to the construction of concrete European project trajectories.
Within the European Opportunities Lab:
European calls are analysed from the perspective of those who are expected to use them in practice;
their real relevance and applicability to specific profiles, sectors and territories are assessed;
calls are translated into project directions, development paths and concrete operational hypotheses;
strategic positioning, partnership building and project logic are actively supported.
The European Opportunities Lab does not operate as a call-alert or funding notification service.
It functions as a strategic and operational laboratory, where European opportunities are interpreted, filtered and transformed into real project directions.
The Lab represents one of the core operational tools of the EU20 Network for all those actors interested in developing European-level initiatives in a structured, coherent and informed manner.
Local Vision®
Territorial Governance & Development Initiative
Local Vision® is an operational initiative developed within the EU20 framework, designed to strengthen in a structured way the strategic, financial and administrative capacity of municipalities across complex and evolving European contexts.
The initiative is grounded in the need to overcome fragmented approaches to local development, promoting an integrated reading of territories and the construction of coherent pathways linking administrative vision, financial sustainability and access to European opportunities.
Through Local Vision®, EU20 activates concrete processes of territorial development and support, enabling local authorities to define strategic trajectories, strengthen decision-making processes and build structured models of cooperation between municipalities.
In this context, Local Vision® contributes to:
- enhancing the quality of local governance and strategic planning
- improving financial analysis and structuring capacity at municipal level
- facilitating access to and positioning within European programmes
- fostering advanced forms of cooperation between territories and local systems
The initiative is currently being developed through ongoing activities and pilot experiences, contributing to the progressive construction of a connected European ecosystem of territories, capable of operating in a more coordinated and aware manner within the European space.
